During the assembly of the plane intended for S7 Airlines, Boeing made a very cool video documenting the entire process in time-lapse. It looks exactly like a model aircraft being put together. I highly recommend taking a look:
The 737 series is the most popular passenger jet in the world. The NG version (Next Generation) was first introduced in December 1997, and by July 2006 there were already 2000 of these planes in service. This was 6 years earlier than any other airliner had taken to reach the same figure.
The plane belonging to S7 Airlines is configured to have a maximum capacity of 160 passengers, of which 12 are business-class and 148 are economy-class:

The cabin features modern, low-profile leather seats from the Recaro company:

Passengers sitting by the emergency exit doors (row 12 and 13) get extra leg room. If you’re taller, you might want to hold out for these seats:

The rows are set 31” (79cm) apart, which is 3” (8cm) more than the minimum allowed for this type of plane. The rows in the business-class area are 42” (1m) apart.
The plane is 130 feet (39.5m) long, with a maximum flight velocity of 530mph (850km/h) and a maximum range of 3520 miles (5,665 km).

In May 2011 the plane began flying from Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) to Novosibirsk, Yakutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Norilsk, Krasnodar, Sochi and other cities covered by the S7 Airlines route network.
In all, the airline company has placed an order for a total of 10 new Boeing-737-800s.
