I bought a ticket on the Tel Aviv-Vienna route three months before departure. Price 220 shekels one way. The airline Wizzair, like other low-cost airlines, is served in the first terminal of Tel Aviv airport. The terminal is not large, without jet bridges and other luxuries. In addition to international destinations, it has the only domestic destination in Israel - Eilat, Ramon.
Passport control was quick, it's here through machines, but for inspection stood for about 25 minutes....
Departure at 20 o'clock, arrival at 23.30 local time. I bought a bottle of wine at duty free for 30 usd, it is unknown whether the shops in Vienna are open at night. Airplane A-320. They called us to board, first the bus, then the ramp, it was dark. Flight loading? There are a lot of people, I have a seat by the window. A boy was sitting by the window with his family, we had to show him the boarding pass and ask him to make room. We drove for a long time along taxiways, at the airport there were 3 runways. Well, we took off towards the Mediterranean Sea, it was dark outside the window, the skyscrapers of Tel Aviv, and then along the coast to the north, Turkey, the Black Sea, Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria.
We flew for three and a half hours, despite the darkness, the city lights flashed beautifully outside the window. The boy next to me couldn’t calm down, he tried to fall asleep lying down, poked me with his feet, asked my parents for food, drinks, a phone, in general he tired me out.
We landed at Vienna airport on time, but first the ramp , then the plane, and then an hour! stood at passport control. At the airport I took a map of Vienna, well... a paper one. Trains from the airport run all night but not often. But the metro operates around the clock on Saturday and Sunday.

I'm going on vacation soon, I'll fly to the EU, Sofia, Budapest, Malta, several flights, but the airlines are still the same, Ryanair, Visa Air, their price tag is low.
