We had to stay onboard nearly for an hour because of some problems with the computer.
Certainly, it can’t be compared with our 5-hours-stay in Dubai in 2009. We were also waiting for A-380. But at that time the connection time in Dubai was 10 hours. And this time it took us only 2 hours to reach Hong Kong instead of 2 hours 50 minutes. So, I had time to drop at the town.
I’ve ordered my sea-food beforehand via web. It differs fr om the food without advance order and is served first. Tastes rather spicy.

Take-off, the flight itself and the landing were very calm and smooth. It’s not scaring to fly with the Emirates.
At booking tickets from Hong Kong to Dubai Boeing 777 was announced. But during checking-in a day before the flight I saw A-380 in the schedule. I was more than happy. It’s much more pleasant to fly for 9 hours onboard of A380 than Boeing.

After 6 hours in Hong Kong wh ere I managed to visit the town, climb up the Victoria Peak and have a supper I’m flying to Dubai.
A6-EDT entered service only 3 days ago, on December 02nd 2011. It’s the newest plane with the Emirates.

The sleeping sets are being distributed: socks, eye-shutters, tooth brush and tooth paste. The upper lighting is being switched off, only the sky of stars is to be observed.
There were a lot of spare seats, so I occupied three of them. I even managed to doze a little, though I never sleep in the planes.
Two hours before the landing they switch on the light and serve the breakfast.
