The TVRS-44 project (turboprop regional aircraft for 44 passengers) is being created in Russia on the basis of the Czech airliner L-610. The developer of the new airliner is the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA), which currently produces L-410 aircraft. In March 2022, the future aircraft was officially named Ladoga.
The TVRS-44 is designed to replace obsolete regional airliners An-24 and Yak-40 on Russian airlines. The new regional airliner is planned to be built in 2024 and put into commercial operation in 2027.
