Next generation regional airliner ATR EVO is being developed by the European aircraft manufacturer ATR to replace turboprops of the ATR 42/72 family. The design of the new regional passenger aircraft will use new engines and wings and more advanced avionics. The use of modern technologies will reduce operating costs by about 20%.
Launch of the ATR EVO program is expected in 2023. The start of commercial operation of the first airliners is scheduled for 2030.
