Airbus A319neo the smallest representative of the new Airbus A320neo family developed by the European manufacturer EADS. The airliner is a deeply modernized version of the popular Airbus A319 passenger aircraft. The most noticeable changes compared to its predecessor are new generation engines and larger wingtips (sharklets). The improvements made significantly improve the economic performance and range of the the new version of A319.
In March 2022, the Airbus A319neo entered passenger service. The first operator of the new airliner has become China Southern Airlines.
