- A beast that i will admire all my life after having flown twice on Aerflot's Dubai-Moscow sector years back. The mere size, weight and the roar of its engine on takeoff is mind boggling. Today we are living in an era where pilots crave for the lighter, quieter, fly-by-wire Boeings and Airbus's that are made for women. To a real pilot with a Man's soul, grab this Beast by its horns and see the difference, you have to have the nerve to fly these (give it its due respect). It's a pity that even Aeroflot has decided to replace this Soviet era Flag ship with the Lady Airbus (320's) on the Dubai-Moscow sector. To the Russian's, resurrect this beast which is the symbol of the soviet era
